My skin stayed fine and clear 
but I guess everyone is different. I guess you can only see. I'm on Yasmin atm, which is very similar to dianette for skin problems anyhow but you can stay on it long term.
I'd definitely go for it if you can't decide

Dianette is what they'd recommend over Yasmin, so yeah, go for it!
