Im interested in doing public relations at uni..
Is anyone studying it at the moment? What does the course involve doing?
May sound silly, but is there much writing involved day to day, such as reports or essays?

Heya, I can't comment on the university course, but I've done some work experience in Public Relations and the actual work involved was pretty interesting and varied.
Can I suggest you try and find some work experience, if only for a day, to gain an insight into what the course might be about? Any large company will have a PR office and its usually really easy to shadow someone for a day.

If you're interested in going into PR, do NOT do PR at university.
Most agencies look more favourably upon those with a more rigorous degree.
Thanks, im currently doing some w/e with a newly started business; watching them grow. But yeah that would be interesting and useful to actually find a PR placement.
