Yes, i think it would. After you did a Bsc Computing, then you would need to do a postgraduate PGCE/PGDE in computing (which is a teaching qualification, therefore after completion you would become a teacher. In order to become fully registered as a teacher, you would then do one year as a probationary teacher in a school and then that is you!

This is what Glasgow says about entry into the Computing PGDE:

Computing

You will need a degree with 80 credit points, 40 of these credit points must be at Year 2 Level or above from at least two of the following: Computer Systems, Software Development, Databases or Information Systems.

You will also need 40 credits in a computing subject relevant to the Computing curriculum taught in Scottish schools.


The requirements might differ slightly between universities but this is good as a rough guide. Good luck.
