Hey guys!! looked everywhere for an anti - racism society and didnt find one, so I decided to start one up :smile:

anyone interested pls let me know...

I have edited out the members list from this post as it is now managed on the Server. As of today, we now have 139 members. Thanks for all the support with the society guys, it is not the most active around anymore but still going strong. Well done guys

You put the word 'scroll' in square brackets [], type wht you want to move after the brackets, then type '/scroll' in square brackets again.

Not quite so magical when you have to explain it!

I think it would be worth doing because some people make a very good case for the word 'racism' having little meaning.

wow! so many definitions from the google link you posted...
I can think of alot of definitions myself, but I will start by saying; Racism could be defined as putting a "barrier" on people or their abilities because of their skin colour an example is believing that "black" or "white" people should only be assigned to certain jobs or certain things (if you get my point); Another good one also appears in the google definitions; .i.e. thinking that one race is superior to another.
Racism can come in different forms and sizes I guess..
I dont know if im stating the obvious here as well or maybe im wrong; I think Xenophobia is also a form of racism
