Oh, damn you, SEMs and TEMs! *frustartion mode on*
Whyyy do they have to put those stupid ratio/chance/blahblahblah questions...
At least I like emphysema and TB.

What did you get for calculations? 9.09 and 0.44?

I got 9.09 and 0.44 and left them to exactly those decimal places. This made me smile. Please be right lool

I got 90.9 lol for the heart one
and yeah got the same for the 0.44

How did it work out to be 9.09 Im so confused lol
i missed like 10 marks, for which i know were wrong, but I just put some things, that i thought would be the right anwers, so i have 60-10 -5 45,

i have taken 5 off for, some reason,
anyways if i score, 45/60 what would that be,

bearing in mind i need need need to get 90 ums marks,?

possible?

june 2009 i only had 70 ums marks, so have retaken it in 2011 , thats a long time. hea..

9.09 was for stroke volume? I got that too. and .44 (phew!)

I messed up the emphysema question too! but only a bit... i started off talking about emphysema, then instead of saying loss of elsatin I said scar tissue... but the rest was right like smaller surface area for diffusion and so slower rate of diffusion, so less oxygen to repiring tissues.

how many marks do you think that lost?

what was the very first question, what is a? i put cell wall but i got in wrong i think
9.09 how???? help!

i had 5000 cardiac output x55 beats per minute
Anyone remember the 0.44 question?
Reply 35
Stroke Volume = Cardiac Output / Heart Rate
so, it was 5000/55= 9.09
Reply 36
I got 90.90 for stroke volume. 5000/55 or something like that.

I got 10 for the water molecule but 2 other people got 9 and another got 2.

I got 90.9
but doing 5000 cardiac output/ 55 beats per min
Ive realised that cardiac output was in cm3 not dm3 so maybe you have to convert it??

You had to talk about loss of elasticity (1), permanently inflated (1) low gas exchange, so less oxygen to alveoli (1) . surface area is reduced (1), less oxygen into the alveoli so you cant respire and therefore will be tired (1)
