Dentistry Degree at HKU?

Hello everyone,

I'm basically a student here in the UK and have recently moved from Holland 2 years ago and am currently in my first year of college.
My GCSE grades are as follows:
Maths A*

Physics A*

Chemistry A*

Biology A

Dutch A*

Religious Studies A

English Language A

English Literature B

BTEC First Certificate in Sport Distinction * (x2)= 2A*’s

CIDA Plus ICT Merit (x3) = 3A’s

Received poor results in my January AS examinations due to not taking it seriously and received the ABCD in Maths, further maths, chemistry and physics.
I am also taking a Dutch AS level in June and hopefully receive and A. Might be able to take Latin Alevel next year if helpful.

Now I have 2 questions.

1) Is a dentistry degree regarded the same wherever it has been taken? ie in HKU or King's?

2) I will be taking resits and am hereby asking whether HKU dislikes resits in the same way Oxbridge does?
