Mechanics: calculating the height at which two objects collide?

A ball A is thrown vetically downwards with a speed of 5m/s from the top of a tower block 46m above the ground. At the same time as A is thrown downwards , another ball B is thrown vertically upwards from the ground with speed 18 m/s . The balls collide. Find the distance of the point where A and B collide from the point where A is thrown.

I can find the max heights, time etc but what do i combine to work out the answer?

the answer is 30m

Call the distance s for example, the distance that B therefore travels is 46-s.

Can you find an equation for the distance traveled for each ball, and link them somehow?
