Geography Edexcel unit 1 revision guide - which is better?
I want to get a revision guide for Edexcel geography (a level) in unit 1. Yet on Amazon there are two that I'm deciding on. Both have been written by the same authors, but one's a newer edition.

Has anyone come across both? As I want to get the one which is better, but I can't decide aha. The first one is the 2008 edition, and the latter is the 2011 edition. Thanks

It's been a while since you posted and nobody's replied yet...maybe you should check out MarkedbyTeachers.com, TSR's sister site. It has the largest library of essays in the UK.

They've got over 181,000+ coursework, essays, homeworks etc.. all written by GCSE, A Level, University and IB students across all topics. You get access either by publishing some of your own work, or paying £4.99 for a month's access. Both ways give you unlimited access to all of the essays.

All their documents are submitted to Turnitin anti-plagiarism software, so it can't be misused, and the site's used by hundreds of thousands of UK teachers and students.

What's more, you can take a look around the site and preview the work absolutely free. Click here to find out more...

I have the first one, the "old" edition, though the information is still fantastic. I have the two "old" versions for units one and two, and the new editions for units three and four.

They're all very useful textbooks, but I also have the CGP Edexcel AS-Level guide to supplement the first two unit books.

How is your revision going? I'm doing all four units in May and June, so I am pretty much 24/7 Geography right now. Feel free to send me a PM if you want to chat!

I used the CGP book for my unit 1 revision which was great but I used the unit 3 version of this book when I was doing unit 3 and it was great! It had case studies dotted around and was quite concise and easy to read. There won't really be much difference between the 2 versions except maybe a few updated case studies so either will be fine!

Thank you, I've bought the newest editions now.
