First level of CFA like self-preparation for MSc in Accounting and Finance

Hello, I am a foreign student and I will take an MSc in Accounting and Finance at Durham University, This University has a partnership with CFA and supposedly the containing of this Master represent more than 70 per cent of the study required for all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst.
For that reason I am studying now the first level of CFA in order to get a good compression of the Financial terms in English, Do you think it’s the best way to self-prepare for my MSc? Has anybody else followed this method as well?

Yes, level 1 definitively will give you a good preparation. Note that it is a lot, but a lot of study.
