Geometric series

A ball is dropped from a height of 10 m. It bounces to a height of 6 m, then 3.6, and so on following a geometric sequence.
Find the total distance travelled by the ball.

Help please? a = 10,
how do I work out r? I think it's 0.6 because I did 3.6/6

That's correct. Now find the sum to infinity. Don't forget to account for the times when the ball is rising as well as falling.
