I believe the answer for this one is C2H6 because the absence of any H2 molecules in the product shows that no hydrogen radicals are formed in the propagation steps.

C2H6 because it can only be formed by two CH3 radicals. Therefore it's proof that free radicals are involved.

what are the chances of getting an A? i felt quite confident but this trend makes me lose hope, edexcel are nasty with their papers though. but an A in chem is what im craving i love it :frown:

Oh, I'm not too sure about that. I actually don't bother with all the what question will come up business for Chem, because it's so hard to predict, and also I think mostly everything is covered in the paper (what with the multiple choice).
