Today i just did my homework which was:
History: Recap of 800-1700 migration + finish off industrial revolution facts and reading
Geography: 20 questions on all the topics we have done for our gcse's
Very happy i was not set much homework today! But i was told about our mocks in December and our teachers are telling us to start revising now but someone i know in yr 12 said not to. Any thoughts?

Listen to the teacher - the person you know is weakening the competition (as the exams are marked on a curve, the grade boundaries are dependent on how well people did)

Take your Y10 grades as good but also insignificant. My GCSE results, which were completed in 2023 Grades

Maths 8
Physics 8
Biology 7
Chemistry 7
French 7
English 7
English 8
History 7
Business 5

If you look closely I was gutted with business, because it looks bad, because I am doing A level economics. What was even more frustrating is that I was predicted an 8. So my advice is do not fully trust teachers in Y10, because things may change from better to worse.
