Islam - "the religion of peace & rape"

A Tory candidate has resigned after anti-Islamic as well as homophobic tweets he made. I'm not here to defend UKIP as such, but in terms of hatred and intolerance, I really don't see how people like David Cameron can call the party a party of "Fruitcakes, loonies and closet racists" when this is hardly the first time a Tory member has done something like this
