Accommodation will depend on your finances. You have Goldsmith Court and Trinity Square which are both within walking distance of the campus. Then you have Victoria Halls and iQ Nottingham which are a bit further away but still within walking distance (10-15 minutes probably).

I'm staying at Russell View which is about a 10 minute walk from the city campus.

I love Egyptian people!

And no I did my BSc in Liverpool

You have two options for halls - university halls or private halls. The ones I've mentioned above are all private halls. There's no difference really except the university halls are owned and run by the university and the private halls are owned and run by private companies. Every hall has students - undergrad (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th year students) and postgrad (masters and PhD students).

Goldsmith Court = http://www.touchstonestudentliving.co.uk/accommodation/nottingham

Trinity Square = http://www.derwentstudents.com/our-locations/nottingham/trinity-square.aspx

Victoria Halls = http://nottingham.victoriahall.com/

iQ Nottingham = http://www.iq-student-accommodation.com/student-accommodation/Nottingham

Russel View = http://www.crm-students.com/crm-accommodation/nottingham/russell-view/

The fee will depend on the accommodation and the room type. Single rooms (shared bathroom and ensuite) are usually cheaper whereas studios are more expensive.

I've booked a studio at Russell View so will be staying by myself. Need the peace and quiet to concentrate on my Masters!

Are they safe?
I'll have a look on them all and I'll compare which is better?

Many thanks,

I'm sure they are safe as all will have security and CCTV.

Which is better will depend on you really, in terms of what facilities you want, your finances, how far you want to walk etc. I myself picked Russell View because their studios are nice and the price is good. The only disadvantage is the location because now I have to travel by bus to get to my campus! :frown:

Heyy, I checked them all and actually i haven't found anything cheaper then the uni's accommodation
they look good and comfortable though, Trinity square is really close to the uni it's like 5 min away

It's really confusing to pick which one -.-
Any idea which of the uni halls are good, close and at good prices ?

I'm sure all the uni halls are good in their own respective ways but Trinity Square might be best for you. It's close to the uni, has good prices and there's a lot really close by e.g. gym, supermarket, police station, bus station, shopping mall Victoria Centre.

I was going to pick Trinity myself but it was too expensive for me!

Are you looking for a room in a flat or a studio?

If you're just looking for a room in a flat then Victoria Halls might be the best for price as it's just under £4,000.

If you're looking for a studio then Russell View has good prices for studios. I'll be paying just under £5,800 for a studio.

For Victoria Halls if you pay in one installment by 01/08/14 it will be £3425.26. If you pay in installments it will be £3738.00. However for installments I do believe you need a UK based guarantor!

The details can be found here:
http://nottingham.victoriahall.com/booking-nottingham/

I'm not sure there's anything else cheaper. The only options cheaper than this that I know of will be house sharing so that means less security!

Send a private message to Rob Sherwood, he's the Official TSR Representative for NTU so he may know a bit more your accommodation options!
