you shouldn't double any of the values.. it said that it was the maximum uncertainty for that values so they were already doubled.. (eg burete has an uncertainty of +-0.05cm3 but they gave us +-0.10cm3)
For the E cell values, first one was positive and second was negative?

Colourless to permenant pale pink?

Was a difficult paper, even section C I found a bit tricky :/

What do you guys think about boundaries? Jan 14 was 71 or 73 for A* and it was an easier paper.

Yes i think so, tho i just wrote colourless haha. I even marked some mcq questions to them later and then i completely forgot about them.
The paper was freaking hard. I think 68 should be a*. What questions do you have? I forgot what was there.
Did you choose solvent extraction for the last mcq?

Must be lower than that. I think 68-71 is a must, otherwise i m done!
That paper was the worst chem paper i have ever done!
You could not have studied for half of it.....

Point was pink.....
Got 70.08% for the limestone ques....
I honestly dont know........grade boundaries better be super low!k
Everyone i know basically wanted to commit suicide after that paper.....i usually get 85/90+ in past papers but this one :frown:

Yea solvent extraction.

Section C, why was free rotation restricted? And what is stereospecific? And also there were 2 chiral centres? And how did you draw the optical isomer? And also the chlorocyclohexane, how did u show the 2 isomers? And for cisplatin and transplatin should you show charge on Cl ion and Pt ion? I forgot :/

restricted rotation coz of extra energy needed to break the pi bond ..i wrote something like that
there was two chiral centres yes ...
stereospecific ... i got it wrong .. i wrote only one type of enantiomer present
isomers for cyclohexane, i literally couldnt do it haha.
I showed the overall charge only

Why can't Vanadium +5 exist as [V(H2O)6]5+? What did you write for that?

the graph in the mcq had m concentration increasing to the right and l concentration to the left... the molecular formula was ml2 so the graph would have the peak at 3,3 as there we will get the higher concentration of ml2...

It would be a strong oxidizing agent therefore it would be reduced from oxygen in water and air molecules easily and therefore it is unstable
