hi,
i'm writing a summary in french of the following article:
http://www.lefigaro.fr/france/20060912.FIG000000094_les_jeunes_boivent_moins_mais_se_saoulent_plus.html

i was wondering if anyone could give me a brief summary of the article in case i've missed anything?
thanks:biggrin:

also, any ideas on how to introduce my summary?

I don't mean to sound rude, but it seems like you're trying to get other people to do your own work. It is better if you post your summary on here and then we can give you feedback.

As far as starting a summary is concerned, the idea is to be brief and concise, so I never bothered introducing it because it seemed like a waste of words (when there was a limit on the word count at A2 level.) You could perhaps say something like 'this article is about blah blah' and introducing it, but very briefly.

Hope that helps a little

No, absolutely not. Don't just waste our time getting us to do your homework. You tell us what you've got and we'll tell you if you've missed anything.

"Bonjour. Je suis le résumé. Ca va?"

Perfect proof that you haven't attempted it at all.
