DSA for BPD/depression

I've got BPD/Depression and I'm going back to uni after taking some time out because of it.

When I do go back, I got told to apply for DSA, but I don't see the point because I don't see how it would help me?

Has anybody been to uni with these mental health issues and got DSA, how did it help you? what did you get with it etc?

thanks

Provision of a mentor to help with managing your workload, anxiety and stress reduction, organisation. It can be beneficial to have someone you meet weekly who can get to know you and notice any changes in mood or behaviour. I work as a specialist mentor an in educational support more widely (and had a mentor during some of my degree, before this) so let me know if you want to know more"

There are lots of other things that can be offered depending on your needs. Why not go to a Needs Assessment and see what can be offered? Things that never occurred to you may be suggested and could provide crucial support.
