Are most tanned or darker French women "beurette"?

Are most tanned or darker French women "beurette"? Is the word beurette a slang word and not an official word? Which areas of Paris and France has the most beurettes and Beur? It's just I was in a London hotel today and I saw two darker skinned (I wouldn't say tanned) women speaking in a lift but I was too scared to ask them where they were from.

Beurette is a slang word for French women who are Arab (from Algerian/Morrocan/Tunisian). You wouldn't call white women who are dark "beurette"!
It's a bit pejorative I'd say but it depends.

I'd say the Parisian Region has the most beur/beurette.

why you ask?
I googled image search ''Beurette'', the shock lol.

It's just I saw a couple of darker skinned ladies at my hotel speaking French and I was wondering where they were from. I eventually got the courage to ask them when I was in the lift with them. They said they were from Paris but there ancestry was from Algeria and Morroco respectively.

It is also interesting to note they didn't speak Arabic to each other only French, perhaps because Algerian Arabic and Morrocan Arabic are different I am guessing.

Also I think Beurettes in general are good looking I like Arab girls in general but maybe since places such as Morroco and Tunisia are perceived to be more liberal maybe I should try and find these types of girls or girls of North African ancestry who were born in France, maybe these are more liberal I am not sure than some girls from the Eastern Arab world I am not sure.

Yes, they tend to speak French between themselves since it's also their mother tongues.
I have friends that speak a mixture of French and standard Arabic, it's lovely
Yeah, beurettes tend to take great care of themselves.
I guess it depends! Arab girls in the UK or in France can be much more conservative than those in Morroco or Algeria (a friend of mine is half Morrocan said that you don't see girls who wear a full veil in Morroco...).
But I'd say that North African girls are more "liberal" than those in the Middle East. But that's my humble opinion.
Random question but are you white?

Why would you expect them to speak Arabic to each other if they were born in France, raised in France, went through a French-speaking school system, lived in France, and only described their ancestry as Algerian/Moroccan?

Hmm true. I suppose I guessed there ancestry was from North Africa, as I asked them were they French and they said yes we are from Paris and then I asked them your North Arfrica right and they said yes one of them said Morrocan and one of them said Algerian. So I suppose I didn't accertain whether they were born in France or North Africa. I think I didn't make this clear in my first post, so I applologise.
update: that term is offensive as ****, don't use it 😂
It's generally a reference to the slutty arab women, I wouldn't use it unless you want to be rude.

Anyway yeah a lot of frogs are mixed with arabs these days, or they are Spanish/Italian descent
I've wondered this myself. The other French are dark and North Africans can be very light so it's hard to tell. I think quite a few French must have North African somewhere back on their line. Albert Camus was Algerian wasn't he?

No, he was white. But he was pied-noir (blackfoot). Pied-noirs people were French and other European who were the descendants or were the settlers during Algeria's colonisation.
