physics with foundation year

Currently I'm doing A2 physics chemistry and biology and I'm taking a gap year. I really want to do physics in university then go on to do nuclear physics but the problem is I don't have maths a levels. I'm I eligible to apply for physics with foundation year or do I have to do maths a level in the gap year

I'd spend your gap year doing maths a-level. It's still possible to combine your gap year endeavours with your maths a-level, so you wouldn't lose out on too much. If you took a gap year and did a foundation year, you'd just be adding a year and a year of university fees.
