Hey there Lauren. I accepted an offer for 'Television and Live Events' starting this September 2015. This course is easier to get into compared to other courses at UAL such as 'Film & Television'. Mainly due to the 'Television and Live Events' course being under 3 years old. So it is a good option to go for if you want a slightly alternative course which is easier to get into.

It would be a good idea to get work experience in a media related field due to the course. Although it doesn't have to be strictly relevant to the course (I myself had work experience in website design and marketing.) They definitely look for work experience in a personal statement, although you can make up for a lack of work experience in other ways, such as having a strong portfolio.
