For me it would depend on a combination of factors:

A) Whether it's simulated or involves sexual contact

B) Whether the person is in love or not

C) How the partner feels

Yes of course! For me a simulated sex scene is acting and, contrarily, 'cheating' in its most literal sense means sexual infidelity e.g. full sex. Having said that, in the context of an exclusive relationship, with a girl I was in love with, we would establish what faithfulness meant to each of us, and I would always act within those safe boundaries, out of love, care, and respect (even if that meant turning a role down)

I think when you have a certain attitude toward intimacy, and a certain level of professionalism, you can just go with it and make the portrayal fairly convincing. I took it upon myself to set a honey trap for a girl I wasn't particularly attracted to/didn't know all that well back in the day, and consider that to tantamount to an acting assignment

It's an art form, and I'm sure you don't do it in a slutty way, so it's borderline acceptable, like I say. If you strayed into exotic dancing, it would be a no no, not just because of direct discomfort but because you're "hot" and men wouldn't be able to keep their dirty mitts off ye!
