Wow, I'm impressed at the tenacity in both of your posts.
I was back-tracking the conversation and I went back for quite a while...
(By the way, there are things which I disagree with you two on, but I'm not going to go through everything said, and reply, or reply yet anyway.)

Are you calling me dumb?

Why not, you've already made this response.

Because your link lead me to a page that says, "An error has occurred in the applicationPlease contact support. Thank you for your patience and understanding."

Well I'm a woman who lives in this society, I think that give me enough entitlement to speak on the matter. You are terrified by your own assumptions, now that's just silly.

I fail to understand why you care what a woman wears, there are much greater problems in this world.

Then google it

Oh, so you're a woman so you know everything there is? With that broken logic your claim means you could also be a gynecologist.
No - it just makes you ignorant and arrogant.

So as I thought you do need a dictionary.
Oh and that reply does make you look not the smartest person in the world.

No, that means, I live what you think you you're so knowledgeable about. which is more than just reading words off a page, I assure you.

I am much more intimately aware of my own body, than any specialist will ever be. Obviously I not completely crazy in terms of seeking help, but, I know my body....not that you need to know.

I accept that I may be ignorant about certainly not arrogant, passionate maybe.

Meh, your entitled to your opinion.... I guess.

What? No, I'm not calling you dumb.

I was merely stating that the vigour shown in your posts is impressive, and even admirable.
Then I was annoyed by the fact that it took forever to find the start of the conversation, to gain context. (though that might might not have been clear.)
Then simply that I didn't agree with all of what either of you said, but I wasn't going to make a reply, because it would take too much time at that moment..
Some things to think about:

If someone decides to go out naked, are they being sexualised / sexualising themselves?

If someone dresses so minimally, to the point that they are practically naked, are they being sexualised / sexualising themselves?

Where is the line drawn? Yes it's subjective; what some people (typically older generations) think is too revealing and sexualising is obviously different than what some modern teenage girl has been brainwashed into thinking is normal.

To me this is more about respect for others, not about who is sexualising themselves/others...

Just as I'm sure the majority of the public don't want to see butt-naked people roaming the streets, people also don't to see people who are essentially naked -- e.g. shorts so short that arse cheeks are hanging out etc).

You can't say "well don't look", "you're just sexualising me, that's your own fault". Would that argument hold if a butt-naked person said it? No. You'd tell them you don't want to see that when out and about.
Its partly because women in western societies have the choice to dress how ever they want to and also the media plays a major role in pressuring women to dress in a certain way. The media deeply sexualises women. Its rare to find a mainstream female artists that doesnt sexualise themselves in music videos and women on tv and in films tend to be highly sexualised too.

Growing up in that kind of society will pressure you into looking and dressing in a certain way. Im not saying im not guilty of that, I love my mini skirts and short shorts sometimes but I am aware that my environment has shaped the way I dress and see myself.

You just don't know when to back down do you. Not only have you shown your lack of understanding the English language, but also lack of understanding when you can't argue. To think you know more than specialists just shows absolute arrogance or total ignorance of how complex these matters are. Seeing that you don't know what tenacity means (or how to google it), it is most certainly the latter.
Now either go study this topic or just stop replying/spamming.

Exactly. I myself get nervoud around women who dress this way as I get bullied by these types of women.
It is called neo-feminism. It says "I want to feel sexy and be confident because I am a woman but don't touch me. You can look but don't touch. Oh and if you look and think you can have me then you are sexist".

Well, if I'm ignorant, then it's in the right sense and you should join me, it's bliss.

You just have to get that last word in, even if it is degrading for yourself. Well, least it proves everything I said to be true :smug:

Well, it's one of my many habits. It's not degrading, not at all. How? No it doesn't, as you're basing it off your own opinion.
Anyone see Jose Mourinho’s daughter? That's what I call a girl sexualising herself. An interesting artile here http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3230086/We-know-feel-Jose-Chelsea-manager-glowers-dressed-18-year-old-daughter-two-battle-scared-parents-share-experiences.html

What I’ve learnt about the teenage law of diminishing wardrobe is that it has nothing to do with the worries that keep me awake at night. My daughters don’t care that they look slutty or as I have pointed out during many rows as if they’re ‘asking for it’.

Quite simply, they dress that way because everybody else their age does. Yes, I know. It doesn’t stop men ogling at them. But the girls seem oblivious and not bothered.

I’ve lectured them endlessly about not taking chances, or getting into dodgy taxis, and I know that deep down they’re wonderfully sensible girls.

Have you seen Miley Cyrus, recently. I'm no prude, but, that is going to far for fame.
I applaud the tsr posters who agree with me,who share my values and the ones who do not are just ignorant and need to grow up.

Firstly, women don't dress for the sole purpose of impressing men.
Secondly, women aren't sexualising themselves by wearing clothing. That is YOU who is sexualising their body based on what clothes they are wearing.

That's utter crap

Its bad behaviour, but as long as they aren't profiting from it then fair dos.

Care to elaborate? Not arguing with you I'm just interested in why you think that.
