S block, non metals or metals?
For this homework question, we had to state whether the elements in s block were non metals, metals or both. I put both and my chemistry teacher marked it wrong. Why is it wrong? I thought hydrogen and helium (as well as group 1&2) were in s block so surely that's a mixture of non metals AND metals?
