OCR A 2016 new spec CHEM depth predictions.

Anyone got any predictions for the depth paper on Friday?
There is gonna be more organic, there was hardly any in the breadth
Boltzmann distribution, Hess' law and enthalpy diagrams

and 40% of questions will be maths, but that goes without saying

Topics not covered in breadth paper :

Intermolecular bonding, pV = nRT, Mechanisms for electrophilic and nucleophilic, Spectroscopy, % yield, Boltzman, Polymerisation, Practical methods, Ozone, Bond enthalpy, Disproportionation, Markownikoff

Chemistry Depth PaperUpdated List:-Mechanism(S) Of Any Reactions-Ozone Depletion-Group 2 And Trends-Analytical Techniques e.g Ms, Ir...-Types Of Bonding e.g London Forces-History Of The Periodic Table-Catalysts-Polymers-Collision Theory-Identification Of Ions-Boltzmann Distributions-Energy Profile Diagrams-Alcohol Reactions-Electronegativity (Possibly Pauling Values, Van Der Waals (LONDON FORCES), Permanent Dipoles)-Practical Q (Titrations, Standard Solutions, Organic Synthesis, Separating and Purifying Products)-Hess' Law?-Rate Of Reaction-Boltzmann Is Very Likely-Bonding (Giant Covalent, Simple Molecular etc)-Properties Of Alcohols-Properties Of Alkanes-Radicals

Hope this helps

These are the topics my chemistry teacher predicts are highly likely to appear in Fridays Depth paper as they weren't in the Breadth.

Electrophilic add/nucleophilic sub
PV=nRT
Practical description
IR/MS
% yield
London forces
Permanent dipole
Hydrogen bond
Boltzmann distribution
Ionic/metallic bonding
Group 2
Periodicity

Hope this helps and good luck for Friday
