I think it's a very misguided attempt to reduce bullying. And one that hasn't worked at all. Some people have so much hate for fat people, I don't understand the strength of the feeling to be honest.

Perhaps you're familiar with the argument that painfully thin models encourage norms that see millions of young girls seek to become, similarly, painfully thin, in an effort to seem glamorous, desirable, or even 'normal', in some cases :holmes:

I think we're a bit far away from an analogous situation with overweight individuals for that to be a significant issue. I don't really disagree though I suppose.
