For question 'b' I got 4ln3 as an answer, but I can't do the second question. Which solomon worksheet are these questions from?

cba to do rn. but turn to partial fs and move from there.

When finding an acute angle between two vectors, do they specify whether they want the answer in radians or degrees ? Or should we just assume it’s degrees ?

They’ll specify, they’ll say degrees or radians. If not, choose any of the two... degree or in radians.

Just be careful and read until the end of the sentence.

Thank you!!!
Hey,

Are there any integration/differentiation formulas we need to know that aren't in the formula booklet?

This isn't specifically calculus, but I know 1 + (tanx)^2 = (secx)^2 isn't in the booklet

Do we need to know that the integral of 1/(x^2 + 1) is tan^-1 x or nah

Same here i made some silly mistakes :s-smilie:
i was totally thrown off by c3 which has entirely messed with my head for c4. does anyone have essentially a "list" of nasty "unconventional" integrals which mean that you have to use a formula, e.g. a double angle formula, to integrate them? kinda like integrating sin3xcosx? thanks
