Look at the ripple tank below. A class is using it to observe water waves. Three students count the number of waves that pass a point in 10 seconds. Valerie counts 27 waves, Stu counts 28 waves and Benjamina counts 30 waves. Use the students' findings to calculate the average frequency of the waves. Give your answer to 1 decimal place.
