what do I put into the calculator in order to solve: cot(2x)=0 cot(2x) = 0
(cos^-1(0))÷2 should give x
It won't be a whole number by the way

12cos1(0)\frac{1}{2}\cos^{-1}(0)

cot, not cos.

Oh sorry 😅
I thought it was a typo lol
Could try to use Cotx = 1/tanx. Haven’t tried it myself.

Cotx = 1/tanx. Use that rule

Oh dear...

And that's how math breaks.

You do realise that cot(2x)=0    cos(2x)=0\cot(2x) = 0 \implies \cos(2x)=0 ??

1/tan(2x) = 0

1 = 0

that doesn't really help here.
