Non reducing sugar

Same 😀

I put that they were both conjugated proteins but I guess that's what you mean when you start talking about prosthetic groups :/

I also wrote that 1 prosthetic group per polypeptide not sure about that tbh

As for the rest of the question I remember saying starch was negative as it didn't turn black blue everything else was positive.
Glucose was pink strip
Calorimeter used so it can give Au and the concentration

Same 😀
I put sucrose because it’s s non-reducing sugar?? may be wrong

I had no idea I out fatty acid ?

I put noradrenaline down as well but i thyroxine for metabolism instead
Original post by Elliefggj
I put noradrenaline and cortisol but think noradrenaline is wrong

What did everyone get for the change in number of people tested positive for testosterone???

i got 58,000 but reckon there will be a big range with answer
Temperature was the. Independent variable and oxygen concentration was the dependent
Original post by lynn55
Time was the independent variable , don’t remember dependant variable
Both globular proteins

For the veins one i talks about them not having much elastin so unable to stretch having collagen
Original post by Rosiepointon5
Heart rate was 86.
One percentage for something was 36% but there will be leniency.
36000 for something else
264 for the volume one.
I put veins are closer to the surface of the skin. Not sure for the other 2 marks
It's a conjugated protein as it contains a prosthetic group of iron
The compared the haemoglobin one
Similarities
Made of different amino acids not repeating units
Both conjugated

Difference
4 polypeptide chains not 1
4 irons not 1
Reducing sugar

i wrote cortisol for the metabolic one but i think i put adrenaline or nor adrelanine whichever one that wasnt already in the table
It wasn’t this, you had to take the percentage of each because the question asked for the change in positive results, it was like 200 and something

What did people put for the question on the colour changing skin on the squid? lol
had no idea though that was a rlly hard question
I spoke about enzymes for that question. I had no clue what the question was asking haha

252 (I think) for the number of change in people testing positively
Noradrenaline and cortisol in the table
Atrioventricular value as the valve that shuts.
86 - heart rate
Photosynthesis - light dependent because needs the reactants of ATP and NADP to oxidase GP to TP
RuBisCo as the enzyme
Auxins - Rooting powder and weed killer in broad leaved plants
Gibberellins - seed germination
Anabolic steroids - steroids can cross plasma membrane that’s why can be applied to skin
Veins presents as arteries run close to the organs supplying them with oxygen
The multiple choice the cells were red blood cell and white blood cell

Loads of ppl getting 36000 for people teasing positive for testosterone and I don’t know why
Agreed! But I put protein rather than amino acid🤦🏼*♀️
Original post by Tygasga
264nm^3 for volume not occupied by iron
For the letter question on photosynthesis i got:
Ribulose Bisphosphate
Triose phosphate
Fatty acids
Amino acids
Acetylcholine would be complementary to receptors on the cells of the skin this would activate enzymes in the cell changing the colour
