How do you work out the structural isomers for a compound??

Hi, I've currently finished year 12 and am revising the content to prepare for a mock in September. There's this one type of question that comes up all the time and it's really annoying me, how on earth do you work out the number of structural isomers a compound has? The question I'm looking at right now is based on C3H2Cl6 and the options I'm given are

a) 2
b) 3
c) 4
d) 5

Any help would be really appreciated!
I always draw the isomers out. Make sure that you don’t count the same one twice just by drawing it slightly differently!
