Anyone doing OCR Gateway Triple Science? How/what/when are your exams?

How are you being assessed on biology?

We're doing 5 tests, B1/C1/P1 all the way to B5/C5/P5/P6. It's weird that we're doing 3 sciences in one test, how will grades be decided?

Due to it being centre assessed grades it’s up to the school to decide, and then in your school (depending on how they run it) it’s up to the science department/individual teachers. For me personally, Chemistry some sort of test on the whole course. Biology some sort of test on all of B1-B5 and most of B6, physics a test on P4 soon (we’ve just finished it) and another test on 2 units of my class’ vote. I don’t know whether it’s going to be 2 full papers, 1 mixed paper or anything. For my March mock, each science was 1 paper with 30 multiple choice questions and 2 normal questions. To be fair, unfortunately you can’t really predict what you will do. The best thing to do is ask your teacher. Good luck with it! :smile:
