Alevel Maths trig
Does anyone know how to do this question:
4 - (4 cos^2)x + (acos^2)x = sinxcosx
show that
(2tan^2)x - tanx/2 = 0.2
hence or otherwise, find the exact value of a

I think we need to see a picture of the exact question - are you supposed to be given the first equation and asked to derive the second, or given both to solve simultaneously, or something else? Doesn't look quite right as it stands
