Product Design NTU

Hi

My son was considering architecture but concerned about the grades and how demanding the course is and we are looking at product design as an option with fairly similar skills he studies Maths, Graphics & Biology and would like to be in the Nottingham area due to his sport. Does anyone have any experience of Product Design @ NTU would be great to talk to some students there.

Also anyone that works on the Product Design field that can advise on employment opportunities, hours and salary etc it Courses seem to range from BSC to a BA product design to Industrial Design would be great if anyone has any insight on this course / career.
