I think corporate settings aren't great for a lot of people, I know quite a few people who dislike the idea of working hard in order to make profit for a group of shareholders.
I know other people who can and do work in these kind of settings because the role is specialist in their case and it allows them to have a number of career benefits and a decent salary.
I think in a large institution it's often hard to find suitable meaning in the jobs people have. However, I think there's a wider conversation here about whether or not we should enjoy our occupation.
