Did I almost got kidnapped in front of the Canterbury Christ church uni ?

I was literally just outside to do some grocery shopping and on my way back I always have to pass by the Canterbury Christ church university. There was a black men around 20ish standing in front of the uni . I just saw that he exited from the uni . As I passed by he approached me and asked if I wanted to have a “tissue” which he had in his hands . I didn’t looked down and just passed . Tbh I was really scared . I’m a petite girl as well . I just now realized what could have possibly happened if I sniffed that tissue of his . Did he try to kidnapped me ? There are also no lights on that street and no one was around . I was really scared and still am . I don’t know what I should do now.

I didn’t try to be racist or anything. I just described what I have seen . If he was white I would have written that too. Unfortunately im not going to that Uni so I am not sure if I could report if it ever happens again or not .
