Guys does anyone know how to find critical region in binomial distribution on the fx cg50 calculator cause im struggling
Does anyone know what they mean by constant acceleration on advanced info
If ladders came up in 2021 do you reckon the stuff abt rods resting on a peg will come up

Constant acceleration is mainly just using the SUVAT equations

menu -> 2 (stats) -> f5(distribution) ->f5(binomial) -> f3(inverse binomial)
set data to variable
set the area to the significance level ; if the question is P(X > something) then do 1 minus the significance
type in the number of trials and the probability and then just select execute

thank you
literally learnt the entirety of mechanics today, i’m actually finished for this exam 🤣
is anyone feeling confident for this lmao
I've gotten 150 marks in pure, what do I need for an a* from paper 3
It’s not looking good brev I can’t comprehend the constant acceleration with vectors to save my life

I’m acc finished I haven’t gotten a single right question in the past hour

Nobody can predict grade boundares.

Yeh true that. But 200-210ish is what an A* usually is.
Here are some commonly missed points/topics that I posted a while ago - the ones below are relevant to paper 3:

Statistics

Know and be able to use the discrete uniform distribution

Understand what points of inflection on a normal curve represent

Know the conditions for when a normal distribution can approximate a binomial distribution

The expected value of a binomial distribution is npnp (informal appreciation)

Recognise when a normal model is/isn't appropriate

Understand the terms acceptance region and p-value

Mechanics

Know how to derive the SUVAT equations

Understand the difference between tension and thrust

Understand that FμRF\leq \mu R and under what conditions F=μRF=\mu R

Know how to find the force exerted on a pulley by a string

Understand lift problems (and similar)

Be aware that gg is not a universal constant and depends on location. Questions may give you an unfamiliar value to use.

I think I got 110-20 so far, can I still get an A?

Sounds low to me
