Hey everyone!

🌸We are officially halfway through our A Levels (or equivalent). For some, this will be the final year of education. So, it’s pretty exciting!!🌸

💚We have all come so far💚

🌟This is a judgemental-free, positive space. You can dump your worries here, bond with other year 13s, share your revision plans, motivate each other etc!🌟

🦋This year is going to be a very busy year, but I know we can smash it!🦋

☃️Here are some icebreaker questions☃️

1) Which subjects are you taking?
2) Are you enjoying them?
3) If you are doing/have done an EPQ, what topic is on?
4) What are your plans for after A Levels?
5) What do you personally want to achieve?
6) How are you feeling about year 13?

1) Physics, Biology, Sociology

2) Physics is killing me

3) I haven't done an EPQ

4) I want to hopefully go to Aston University and study optometry

5) Getting all A's or A*s

6) It's very stressful. There's so much to do in such a short amount of time. I really regret wasting time in Year 12 :frown:

All courses except soas i like
Which 5 should i apply for and what order for each

What do you mean by 'put these in order' ? Are you referring to the league tables? Also there is no 'order' when you apply through UCAS.

I mean in order of which uni is best for my chosen subject. And yes i know there's no order for ucas but just want to know which ones are better

Have you looked at the 2022 university rankings for your subject? Usually a good place to start.

1) History, English Lit and Sociology
2) Yeah, although history coursework will be the death of me
3) I did mine on the film industry and did quite well on it!
4) I really want to go to uni to study film and screen studies. (Not similar to my A levels, I know.)
5) Hoping for A*AA or A*AB but I'll be happy with whatever happens
6) Stressed - but I think I'll be ok.

I am. Have to hand it all in to school by the 30th though, which is very quickly creeping up on me 😬😱

I am too I still have until I think the 10th to submit it. I'm basically done though just waiting on an email about my next step Bristol application to see if I get a guaranteed interview.
Good luck to you guys though
Anyone else hate their personal statement?

Yh that’s what I’m really struggling with too. The word count is way too short

Mine's so cringey to look at but apparently admissions people love that stuff. What 'enthusiasm' and 'extremely motivated', oh my
