Stuck between a rock and a hard place

So I'm retaking my third year of Computer Science just for the project and, so far, its going pretty much as expected: I hate it. Everything is playing out the same as last year and on track to fail my project the second year in a row. It just isn't working. I'm so angry that I've put myself in this situation.

I want to leave my course but I fear that doing so will make me feel worse. I want to accomplish something but this course has made me truly depressed. When I was thinking of leaving this time last year people told me to hang in there since I was so close to the end. Okay so what do I do this time around?

I'm just thinking out loud but any advice would be greatly appreciated :smile:

Have you spoken to your supervisor or personal tutor about the situation? What exactly is going wrong - is it an issue with the project itself, or with your circumstances separate to the project itself, which make it so you aren't able to perform well in your work on the project?
