Wittegenstein contradictions
Why is Wittgenstein a useful philosopher in terms of language. He seeks to defend religious practices in his 'language game' theory, but this is contradicted by his first 'picture theory' or language that says we should not discuss religion ("whereof one cannot speak, therefore one must be silent")

because he provided new insights into the relations between world, thought, and language and thereby into the nature of philosophy.
