I wrote since the lungs of the foetus haven’t fully developed yet, if the atria are connected together, the blood can pass to other parts of the body without passing through the lungs (like a shortcut), so more oxygenated blood reaches the other organs to supply more O2 to the organs, so this can maximise the rate of development of the organs.

The heart questions were proper odd. I felt like I kept repeating ‘higher affinity to oxygen’ like 2,3 times?!? The nerves were so good and the immunology Was a blessing
