i am interested in biomedical engineering but I don't do physics ....

Many universities don't specifically ask for a physics a level for this course. But will it put me at a disadvantage if i don't do physics ? (btw i am currently doing maths, biology and chem)

Some universities might have an preference for Physics. Others might not.

If you look on The Uni Guide, it'll show you (for each course / university) the "Most popular A-Levels studied (and grade achieved)". Those where Physics doesn't appear in the list of most popular A levels studied (e.g. Queen Mary University of London) presumably have no such preference.

Obviously this doesn't mean that those where Physics does appear in list of most popular A levels studied (e.g. King's College London, University of London) have a preference - it could just be that most people who applied there happen to have taken it.
