electrophyllic addition with cyclohexene

hello,

in the mark scheme for this question, one of the marks is for the 'correct' carbocation structure, which is the positive charge on the bottom right C. In my answer i did it on the top right. Im thinking it doesnt matter, but when searching this q on youtube and websites they all specify the bottom C. Am i overthinking it or is there a reason why? thank u so much!

Hi, i can't think of a reason why it would matter which carbon is initially joined to the bromine, and which one then becomes positive (as both carbons are identical at the start of the mechanism), so I think it wouldn't matter.
