A-level further maths without IGCSE additional maths?

I've started my A-levels this week and chose maths, computer science, and physics for my AS subjects, however i've realised I need a 4th subject, and while the uni course i'm looking at(computer science) doesn't explicitly require it, i've been told that Further Maths will boost my chances at admission.
My question is, is it ok to take A-level FM without having taken IGCSE additional maths? Will an A*-B be achievable or is it too hard?
For context i got A* maths, physics, and ICT at IGCSE, and plan to study at Carnegie Mellon University - Qatar

If you enjoy maths and are willing to put a lot of work into it, then there shouldn't be a problem! Some schools, like mine, didn't even offer additional/further maths at GCSE/iGCSE level, so you won't be held back!

I just did a single maths gcse and just got an A at AS Level, so don't worry about it!
A lot people I know taking/ took further maths a level didn't do GCSE additional maths. My school like many others don't even offer additional maths GCSE (I'm starting A levels this year too).
Personally, for me, Igcse is an example of extension. A-levels so if u want maths at A-levels to be easy u should have done add maths. Caus bit will help but if ur maths is solid then u can do it
Many people in my Further Maths class didn't do Additional Maths, I wouldn't worry about it. I happen to have done both but honestly, it didn't make that much difference.
