depressed at uni

My first partner left me a few months ago, she cheated and lied to me while i was away studying at uni, this has caused a lot of pain, i feel very lonely, fortunately i have the discipline to study all day everyday and also exercise somewhat regularly, but with exams, im feeling very low, am i doing the right thing to keep working on and keeping distracted or will it all unwind after uni ?

Many people go through break ups, and it is never easy. Also, it is normal to feel very depressed and lonely so never feel bad about yourself. It is great that you are able to maintain your life routines because not many people are capable of doing it and keeping yourself distracted is one way to recover from previous relationship. However, I'm not too sure whether if this would all unwind after uni because it depends on the person. The best thing you can do I think is to keep yourself distracted, socialise with friends, and try not to think about her. If you do this for a while, which takes a lot of effort, you might feel better because usually, 'time' is the only thing that can heal you from messy break ups. Although 'time' might not be able to heal you completely, it will make you feel better.
