I feel like it is fairly safe to guess the extract will be socialism, though - failing that, liberalism.

yes, or liberalism but yeah socialism probably more likely - other 25 essay is basically impossible to predict but worth planning possible essays

Worth noting that the extract, 9 marker on the same ideology and essay will be worth 59/77 marks, which is only 3 or so marks off of an A*. Basically, advice to everyone - I think you’d be in a very good position if you got very very comfortable with socialism and your other ideology!

Does anybody else do feminism here?

9 markers on paper 3 are the easiest 9/9 you can achieve in my opinion if you know liberalism/socialism/conservatism inside out

25 marker context is not that hard either, just need to find 3 really solid points that draw out tensions/contradictions between strands of the given ideology

what's the most common 4th ideology that people take? is it anarchism or nationalism?

I reckon anarchism is the most popular. I’ve never heard of anyone doing ecology or multiculturalism.

yeah I do anarchism which I think is the easiest because it's simply the two ends of the spectrum, nihilists/ancaps and ancoms/collectivists which is basically an extension of liberalism and socialism

never heard anyone do those either

Anarchism sounds like it meshes much more with the course, if I’m honest. Feminism is interesting though.

yep, feminism or nationalism would be my other choices to study they look really interesting

I would say anarchism is easier though yes because you can bring in a lot of synoptic links
