i’m starting sertraline today, but i’m going on holiday for 5 days next week where i’ll defo be drinking - i know this will not mix well with the medication but i’ll try to drink in moderation - will there be any long term effects or just mess with my mood when i drink?
I've drank on sertraline and I was okay. Not condoning it but you won't die probably. I was on it longer before drinking though so my body had a chance to adjust to it bc it can have pretty rough side effects when u first start (my GP warned me about s*icidal thoughts).
The advice doesn't say what happens if you do drink (unlike with grapefruit juice where it is explicit).
