Redox question help

Does anyone know the answer to this question?
Would you not calculate the Ecell value as (most positive value - most negative value) but the mark scheme says the answer is -0.48V which doesn’t go with the Ecell=reduced-oxidised rule. Can someone explain?

Disproportionation would start with bromine as the reactant - so the right hand side of the more positive equation and the left hand side of the more negative equation. If the question asked for Ecell of the spontaneous reaction you would do more positive - more negative, but it's asking you to show that the reaction starting with bromine would not be feasible. If it's not feasible then it's the opposite way round and Ecell is negative.
