Vector Arrows Homework Help
Hello, I’m in Year 10.
I’ve just started on Vector Arrows and this is my homework. I.. don’t really know what I’m doing. Could anyone help me figure out the answers to these?

Q1 and 2 seem to be about vector addition.
the way we add vectors is to redraw the vector arrows tip to tail and then the result is the vector from the tail of the first vector to the tip of the last vector.
you don't draw the tails starting from the same point and join the tips - it should be pretty clear that the result of two forces going roughly left to right should be a force larger than either individual force going roughly left to right...

which you could solve with the cosine rule
though there seems to be some element of wonky question factor at play in this worksheet

Thanks for your response, this was very helpful
I couldn’t get question 2 but neither could my teacher, actually, so I don’t think that really matters. He also found that the questions were strangely laid out. I got the rest of them though!
