Helppppppp

is it possible to convince a university to accept you, even if they have rejected you? like make a phone call or something and explain why you'd be a great student, even if you dont have the grades

If you don't have the grades and they rejected you, you're not getting in. That's just how it is, unfortunately. Begging on the phone just makes it more difficult for the person on the other side and wastes your time in the process when you could be investigating alternative options.

No - they get your results before you do and will have reviewed your application. If you are rejected then that's it.
As above, they'll already have made a final decision before you see your results and they don't have time to take grovelling calls, (which are deeply uncomfortable for everyone involved).
As above.

But you could contact to find out if they would consider a new application for the next year, if you retook and improved the grade. This, or accepting a place at a Uni with a lower offer requirement, are your options. They won't change their minds.

There is always clearing.

If your course at the university you are interested in shows up during clearing, then it's possible that they might accept you if they still have space.

All the best,
