If you want to be a "beneficial member", I'd say the best way is reply to the posts otherwise of other members. If they have questions you can answer, then answer them. If they share an experience which you can relate to, then offer your opinion. If they have an issue which you yourself have faced in the past, then let them know how you overcame it.
And always follow the Community Guidelines.
